Contractor Terms

These terms apply to companies that register to receive and purchase leads. They are written to be specific about what you get and what we expect.

Eligibility and verification

You must operate a legitimate business and provide accurate registration, insurance and contact details. We verify these before your account can unlock leads.

You must keep insurance current. If a certificate on file expires, the Insurance Verified badge is removed until you provide a current one.

How leads work

A shared lead is sold to a limited number of companies — the marketplace shows the exact number of seats and how many are already taken before you spend anything.

You see the full job details, location to postal-area level, and photo count before purchase. The homeowner’s name, full address, phone and email are released only once you unlock the lead.

You are charged only when a seat is successfully claimed. If another company takes the last seat while you are purchasing, nothing is deducted.

Using homeowner information

You may use a homeowner’s contact details only to contact them about the specific request you purchased. You may not add them to a marketing list, sell or pass on their details, or contact them about unrelated services.

This is the most important rule on this page. Breaching it results in immediate suspension without refund, and we will tell the homeowner.

Balance and refunds

Your balance is prepaid and does not expire. It is credit for purchasing leads, not a deposit, and is not redeemable for cash.

You can dispute a lead and request a credit refund where:

  • The contact details are fake or non-functional.
  • The phone number is invalid or disconnected.
  • The request is for a service you do not offer.
  • The property is outside your stated coverage area.
  • It duplicates a lead you already purchased.
  • The homeowner says they never made the request.

Disputes

Disputes are reviewed by a person, not auto-approved and not auto-denied. A refunded lead has its seat returned to the marketplace and you lose access to the contact details.

We track dispute rates. A pattern of disputes that do not hold up will be investigated and may end the account.

Subscription tiers

Paid tiers reduce your per-lead price and give you earlier notification of new leads. The head start is disclosed publicly and applies only to notification timing.

Tier does not affect how quotes are presented to homeowners, and does not buy a better position in any comparison a homeowner sees.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel yourself at any time through the billing portal.

Conduct

We may suspend or remove an account for misuse of homeowner data, repeated unresolved complaints, misrepresenting credentials, fake reviews, or abusive behaviour toward homeowners or staff.
