Lead Purchase Terms

This page sets out precisely what a lead purchase is, because vagueness here is how lead marketplaces lose contractors’ trust.

What you are buying

You are buying access to the contact details of a homeowner who submitted a request for the service and area you cover. You are buying an introduction, not a job.

What we do not promise

We make no promise that:

  • The homeowner will answer the phone or reply to email.
  • The homeowner will proceed with the work.
  • The job will be worth any particular amount.
  • You will win the work rather than another company on the same lead.

What we do promise

We do commit that:

  • The lead came from a real submission on this site, not a purchased list.
  • The number of companies it is sold to will not exceed the seat count shown at purchase.
  • The service, location and job details shown before purchase match what the homeowner submitted.
  • You will not be charged if your seat claim fails.
  • A lead meeting the refund criteria will be credited back after human review.

Pricing

The price of each lead is shown before you unlock it, and that is the price charged. Prices vary by service — smaller jobs cost less — and by your subscription tier.

Prices may change over time. A change never affects a lead you have already purchased.

Response expectations

Homeowners are told to expect contact within one to two business days. Leads convert dramatically better when contacted quickly, and persistent slow response affects your Responsive Pro badge.
